Welcome to Waveney Youth Football Club

When You Choose a Football Club For Your Child, Make Sure You Choose an

F. A. Charter Standard Community Club

Waveney Youth F. C. have been an F. A. Charter Standard Club since 2003 and in 2007 the Club won the F. A. National Charter Standard Community Club of the Year.
The Club came close to emulating that success this year by winning the Suffolk County FA Community Club award (for the 3rd time in 7 seasons) and having the honour of representing our County in the Regional heats, where we came out on top against clubs from Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex (London Boroughs) we represented the Eastern area in the National heats only to narrowly miss out on the top prize.
But nevertheless finishing close again is a fine testament to everyone connected to our ambitious club and you are safe in the knowledge that you are joining a well organised Club offering opportunities for all.
All of our coaches / volunteers are F.A. qualified to a minimum of Level 1, they are all CRB checked and have attended Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid training.

We've all been to Wembley!!

6 lucky youngsters proudly hold the Respect Flag which led the England and Swedish football teams onto the pitch for the recent friendly international at Wembley Stadium.

Emily Walker, Abbie EversonKian BurgessJack ButcherEamonn Woodham and Liam Davey  had a day to remember on Tuesday 15th November after being selected to represent Waveney F.C. on behalf of Suffolk F.A. who won the ballot to choose a club to become flag bearers at the game.

Abbie and Emily wrote a diary which gives an interesting insight as the day unfolded. The Waveney F.C. youngsters can be seen on the left standing behind the Swedish team. Further pictures can be found in the photo gallery.
